WhatsApp now allows continuous audio message playback on Android
WhatsApp has got a new update for WhatsApp, in which a nifty feature – continuous audio message playback – has been added to the chat app. Whatsapp’s latest stable build on Android now automatically starts playing the next voice message sent to the user, once the last voice clip has finished playing. The feature is already available in the iOS version of Whatsapp. However, some features were recently tested in beta channels such as the ability to share Whatsapp status as a story on Facebook and a dedicated QR code button in the App’s profile section has not yet arrived.
The above Whatsapp feature has been added for the stable Whatsapp Android app with v2.19.150 update. Continuous voice message playback feature eliminates the difficulty of manually taping the play button on the next voice message after the last voice is over. Although this is not a major feature, it will definitely come in handy for the conversation, including the exchange of many voice messages sent in instant succession. To be remembered, this feature was first seen in WhatsApp in beta 2.19.86 for Android in March this year.
How to get continuous audio message playback feature
Continuous sound message playback feature is now available in the latest stable version of WhatsApp for Android. However, if you have not got an updated version through Play Store, you can download WhatsApp file (v2.19.150) from APK Mirror. A vulnerability (CVE-2019-3568) is also visible in updates to messaging app.
Unfortunately, some interesting features such as WhatsApp’s ability to share on Facebook as a story and a dedicated QR code button that were recently spotted tests are yet to come through the stable channel. In addition, the new emoji style available through the doodle picker for status updates, which was also seen in the beta test last month, is missing from the latest Whatsapp update.
