Black Shark 2 gaming phone will be launched in India on May 27 with Snapdragon 855
Black Shark 2 is scheduled to launch in India on 27th May, Xiaomi-supported Black Shark unveils development through a press invitation. The gaming phone, which comes with Snapdragon 855 SoC and up to 12GB of RAM, started back in March in China. Black Shark has also provided a liquid cool 3.0 liquid-cooling technique for enhancing heat dissipation and providing a comfortable gaming experience. Other major attractions of Black Shark 2 include up to 256GB of onboard storage, touch response rate of 240Hz and touch response time of 43.5 milliseconds. The Black Shark 2 comes in particular as the successor to the original Black Shark phone, which was launched last year in the Chinese market.
Black Shark has sent media invoices to announce the date of the launch of Black Shark, without any disclosure about price and availability. This launch is being done in New Delhi on 27th May. In addition, gaming phones are expected to come along. Gamepad 2.0 controller and other gaming peripherals.
Earlier this month, the reference of the Black Shark 2 India launch was revealed. In the phone, the information was given to pass the Indian Standards Bureau (BIS) certification in the country.
Black Shark 2 Price
India’s price of black shark 2 has not yet been exposed. But still, this is more likely to be announced in China back in March.
To remember, Black Shark2 was launched in China in CNY 3,199 (about 32,300 rupees) for 6 GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration, while its 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage option is priced CNY 3,499 (approx. 35,300 rupees). The phone has a top-of-the-line option of CNY 3,799 (approximately Rs 38,300) with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model and CNY 4,199 12GB RAM + 256GB storage (about Rs 42,400). It comes in shadow black and frozen silver color option.
Black Shark 2 Specifications, Features
Black Shark 2 has Liquid Cool 3.0 technology that works with a heat-conductor copper plate to increase heat dissipation. Black Shark claims that its in-house technology is capable of increasing the waste dissipation 20 times. In addition, TrueView display support and Snapdragon Elite gaming of Qualcomm to give an advanced gaming experience in the handset. There is also a magic press pressure-sensing technique that enables optimization of pressure sensitivity on the display.
In terms of specifications, Dual-SIM (Nano) Black Shark 2 has a 6.39-inch Full-HD + (1080×2340 pixels) AMOLED display, which has an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9 and a density of 403 ppi. Under the hood, an octa-core Qualcomm snapdragon is 855 SoC, which is connected with Adreno 640 GPU and up to 12GB of RAM.
For photos and videos, Black Shark 2 has a dual rear camera setup that includes a 48 / megapixel primary sensor with f / 1.75 lens. There is also 12-megapixel secondary sensor with F / 2.2 lens. Camera setup supports 2x optical zoom. In addition, the front has a 20-megapixel selfie camera sensor with f / 2.0 lens.
Black Shark 2 has 128GB and 256GB UFS 2.1 storage option. The connectivity options in the phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS / A-GPS and USB Type-C port. There are also sensors including Accelerometer, Ambient Light and Gyroscope. The phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor. In addition, it comes with 4,000mAh battery and measures 163.61×75.01×8.77mm.
